Frequently asked
Is BommiSoft Garments for export units or domestic units?
Both. The Domestic plan covers orders, job work, purchases, stock and GST invoices. Factory adds production, workers and piece-rate wages. Export adds export invoices in the buyer's currency, packing lists, carton labels and the money still to come from each shipment.
Can it handle job work outside my unit?
Yes. Send yarn, fabric or pieces to knitters, dyers, printers and stitching units with a delivery challan, take back what returns, and see the process loss and what each job worker still holds.
Can supervisors enter production from a phone?
Yes. A simple phone screen on the factory Wi-Fi lets supervisors enter pieces by order, stage and worker. Piece-rate wages are worked out from those entries.
Can I bring in my buyers' POs and opening stock from Excel?
Yes. Import reads Excel or CSV files of parties with opening balances, opening stock and buyers' POs, checks every row first and tells you what it could not take.
Does it work with Tally?
Yes. Sales, purchases and payments go to Tally, and the month-close pack gives your auditor every register and GST report in one zip.
Does BommiSoft Garments need internet?
No. It runs on the office computer. Other computers and supervisors' phones join over the unit's Wi-Fi or network.
What is the difference between yearly and lifetime?
Yearly: pay every year, updates and support included. Lifetime: pay once and use it forever; the first year of updates and support is included, then an optional yearly AMC keeps you on the newest version.
Can I start with Domestic and move up later?
Yes. Moving to Factory or Export, or adding computers, is a new activation code - nothing is reinstalled and your data stays as it is.
Is my data safe?
Your data stays on your own computer. BommiSoft makes automatic backups, can copy them to a pen drive or Google Drive folder, and every user has their own login and role.
